For the very first time, pupils and teachers at Theo joined in the fun of World Book Day by coming to school dressed as their favourite book characters. The colourful costumes were judged during the 15-minute break in front of the library, and later, in the ten-minute break, the winners received book vouchers — what else could be more fitting for the occasion?
The event created a lively atmosphere across the school: excitement buzzed in the corridors, and we all discovered some great new titles to read. Several classes even linked their lessons to the theme of reading and literature.
Let’s hope that next year World Book Day doesn’t coincide with Töchtertag — so even more pupils can join in this wonderful celebration of books and imagination!
